In 1969, François and Maggy Doucet took over one of the last remaining almond processing workshops in Oraison, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, France. They built on ancestral recipes while pursuing creativity and excellence in the production of their French confectioneries.
50 YEARS OF HISTORY AND EXCELLENCE
The family-owned company founded by François and Maggy, which is now run by Marie-Edith Doucet, is still located in Oraison. It produces confectioneries that are among the finest in Provence and, in 2017, received EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) certification, which is awarded to French companies that demonstrate outstanding artisanal know-how. More than 60 talented individuals with a passion for their work continue to craft exceptional products that are born of the lands of Provence.
WORKSHOPS BUILT ON ANCESTRAL KNOW-HOW
60 talented individuals with a passion for their work keep traditional methods alive as they lovingly prepare the mouth-watering recipes that are used to produce our distinctive Provençal confectioneries, including fruit jellies, chocolates, and chocolate-coated nuts, dried fruits and fruit jellies.
THE QUALITY OF OUR INGREDIENTS
The Doucet family has always been aware of the importance of selecting ingredients. Our deep love of the local area goes back several generations and has sharpened our senses of sight, touch and taste.
Our almond plantation
Since 2018, more than 2200 almond trees have been planted, just a few miles from the workshops. This sustainable project will support the pursuit of excellence and eventually cover more than 10% of the company’s needs, while giving priority to local stakeholders.

Aware of the importance of environmental issues, François Doucet Confiseur has adopted an environmentally responsible approach, which includes organic ranges, traceability of ingredients, partnerships with local and fair-trade producers, and unpackaged confectioneries.
